Genex is part of a group of companies with a land development history involving Whistler Mountain, Fairwinds Golf Community and Morgan Creek Golf Course and Residential Community.

In 1993 Steve Barker, President of Genex Development Corp., joined forces with Allan Ullrich, a luxury homebuilder with many years experience in the construction industry throughout the western provinces.  This partnership was originally formed to build an executive townhouse project in South Surrey, and 17 years and 360 units later, Genex has become a highly respected development firm well known for its application of luxury home-building standards to both its single family and multi-family developments.
